Hi Sam, love the info on Arkansas. We are heading up there ...to Bentonville to see son and family next weekend. Hope all is well. I do love the Fayetteville square... and the pizza place ...across from the square. We always went there with the kids when they still lived there. Colleen

Yes, it is beautiful, and Eden Falls is something to see....but people need to be aware that the falls are usually only running well during the spring or right after a nice rain. In summer they are usually just dripping. But the trail is still awesome, even in summer! Beautiful rocks, bluffs, and that huge overhang they call Cobb Cave, and then the real cave above Eden Falls, too, that you can go in. IMO, it's one of the best hikes in Arkansas!

One of the great things about a blog is that people correct you when your wrong. I'll fix my mistake.

Actually, I didn't say much about The Lost Valley Trail, but I probably should have. The area is beautiful, Eden Falls is something to see. There's a really great, descriptive, post on the Harrison Arkansas blog about the area. Read it here: http://www.harrisonarkansas.org/blog/?p=11

Uh...there is NO Lost Valley State Park in Arkansas.

There is a Lost Valley hiking trail close to the Buffalo River, though. And it's great.
